Zoe Lewis

Originally from England, Zoe now resides in Provincetown, Cape Cod. She plays jazz, jump jive, Latin grooves, swing, international folk, funk originals on anything from piano to the spoons! She describes her blend of music as Worldbeat-Vaudeville .

Her concert was upbeat, amusing and perfect for all ages. She's part troubadour, part storyteller and a totally accomplished musician, and she interrupted her tour with Judy Collins to spend a splendiforous evening with us. She set us off balance with her quirky spin on things, sneaking in simple, potent messages that left us worn out and inspired.

Peter Mayer

Peter Mayer delighted our MCMAA audience on April 22, 2007. A gifted singer-songwriter and guitariest, Mayer writes songs for a small planet—songs about interconnectedness and the human journey; songs about the beauty and the mystery of the world. Whimsical, humorous, and profound, his music takes you up mountains, across oceans, into space, and back home again.

A native of Minnesota with a background in Theology, Peter is not big on love songs, but prefers delving into science, nature, and things spiritual. Peter is a master of the guitar and an artist of relevance and insight whose music is not to be missed. Visit his website to read more and to hear clips from his albums.

Neftalí Trio

This remarkably gifted trio of musicians presented a stunning concert for us for the first time in June 2005, as the Boulder Piano Trio. Now called Neftalí, the trio of young musicians is a unique ensemble with an innovative new approach to programming. They will play for us again in 2007.

Reflecting the diverse backgrounds and interests of its three core players, Neftalí concerts include a variety of works for solo, duo and trio, with an emphasis in the music of Spain and Latin America that promises to mesmerize the audience.

The Neftali Trio Includes:

    • Alex Maynegre ... piano
    • Angela Leidig ..... violin
    • Beth Ringel ......... cello
