Virginia Unseld has been painting the Colorado landscape for 30 years. She received her Master’s Degree from Rhode Island School of Design. Her paintings in pastels and watercolors have won many awards
including Best of Show in The Western Art Rendezvous, art chosen for the Gilpin Artists’ Association 50th Anniversary Poster, 1st Place Pastels from Evergreen Plein Air Invitational, 3rd Place and People’s Choice Award for the Colorado Pastel Society and Juror’s Choice Award for the Colorado Art Open. Her work is exhibited at Edge Gallery in Denver; Firedworks Gallery in Alamosa; and locally at the Palette Gallery in Nederland. You can view some of her work at www.firedworks.com.
