Violinist Jessica Oddie and Pianist Dr. Obadiah Ariss to open Concert Series

Violinist Jessica Oddie, accompanied by Dr. Obadiah Ariss on the piano, will present a concert featuring violin sonatas by Kreisler, Frank, Grieg & Elgar on Sunday afternoon, June 21 at 4:00.  A reception with the artists hosted by the Nederland Area Seniors and an art display sponsored by The Palette Gallery of Nederland will follow the concert.

Jessica Oddie and Dr. Ariss played for our 2007 MCMAA Summer Series and Jessica and her brother Jonathan played for our 2008 Series. Jessica is back in Boulder after having completed a year studying violin performance at the Juilliard School of Music and will continue her studies at Yale in the fall. At previous MCMAA concerts Miss Oddie stunned our audiences with her virtuosity, maturity and passion that is far beyond her years. This will be her third MCMAA appearance.
